Section 01 // About Chiqaq

Chiqaq is new.
The crew isn't.

Chiqaq was founded in 2026 in Lima. The crew has been producing esports for thirteen years.

Glem Rafaile ran the Spanish feed for The International 7 and the Kiev Major at Beyond the Summit, for Valve; founded Peru's first university esports league; and today produces DreamLeague at ESL FACEIT Group. He is a software engineer from UPC, speaks four languages, and has trained broadcast producers for the Saudi Esports Federation.

The crew comes from the same productions. Our broadcast director ran the Lima Major in 2023 at 4D Esports, was assistant director at Livemedia and editor at beastcoast. This is not a freelance bench: it is the people we have already been in the control room with.

What we do differently is easy to say and hard to execute: European and Asian standards, out of Latin America, in native Spanish.

03 // Position

Out of Lima.
To a global standard.

Based in Lima, on the Americas' time zone, at Latin American rates.

Being Latin American isn't a disclaimer, it's a position: native Spanish, European and Asian standards, and closeness to the Americas market.

04 // How we work

Four things we don't negotiate.

01

One accountable lead

Every production has one person who answers for it from start to finish.
02

Verifiable credits

Every production is credited to the company it was made at. Nothing that cannot be checked.
03

Native Spanish, global standard

European and Asian quality, not translated: in Spanish, English and Portuguese.
04

American time zone

Lima shares working hours with most of the Americas: live shows are produced during the working day.
